Hippy One,
I will make space for some intrepid mariner and though I would love to join you for a burnt offering on Sunday, I must pay homage to the great god of uniforms and do my domestics.

Looking at that pub crawl reunion list, most of you would be able to attend the WRAN's reunion in Qld.,as well.
P.S.
Happy birthday Rick. xxxxx.

Thanks Geordie...! In fact I had a very pleasant birthday,
which included lunch with old friends, 13th MOBI Intake Chippy Frank Eastwell and his wife Jude, and 13th MOBI Intake Tiffie Bob 'Kip' Dunlop and his wife Pauline at The Brooklyn Hotel on
the corner of George and Grosvenor Streets, Sydney, and yes...
right next door to that ancient facade so familiar to us all...
Royal Naval House a.k.a. 'JOHNNIES'
L-R, Bob and Paulette Dunlop and Jude and Frank Eastwell...
..........
Frank and Rick and Bob... trying to figure out just how many years ago
we staggered through that doorway...
...........
Bob (a.k.a., 'Kip' or 'Kipper',) and Paulette in front of the RNH plaque...
The original staircase of Johnnies, now relocated 50 metres up the hill
into their current location in The Exchange House next door...
...........
And that view that will evoke many memories for some, the atrium, also
relocated 50 metres up the hill...
...........
Better known to us all as 'The Snake Pit'... now simply a food court for the
yuppies of George Street...
Ah yes, many a lost Sunday spent drinking black rum and eating stale ham
and cheese rolls in the early sixties...! Yum...
...........
And all just around the corner from the start of our 8th Annual RAN Skilled Hands Sydney Rocks Christmas Pub Crawl Smokey in a just
over two weeks time...
Did you like the way I skillfully brought that back on topic for you all...? :finga:

BTW, I'll start a secondary list tomorrow, so we know how many we're catering for at the BBQ
and how many survivors are coming sailing on The MOBI Yacht 'Nirimba'...
