Also open for accommodation. Would be a fabulous view over Barrangaroo.
Fantastic news, Gordo, how in the hell did you spot that..? And yes, the stroll down to The Palisade will be the perfect way to settle our lunch at The Lord Nelson...
I always thought that it's location/ parking/ views were too good for it to remain closed forever... been a long time between drinks...!
We should all meet up on the roof...!!! [QUOTE] "The upper levels of the Hotel Palisade are currently being renovated – the plan is for nine large hotel rooms, each with its own theme.
The penthouse and rooftop terrace is also being transformed into a cocktail bar, slated to open in late September.
And with the space featuring wrap-around, oh-so-close views of the deep blue of the harbour, it will be worth keeping an eye out for."
A few people on this site are very, very unkind. It's a good thing I'm a very, very forgiving kind of guy!!! I'll enjoy listening to the whingers as they shell out the BIG bucks for a drink at the Palisades!! A few of you will get nosebleeds and vertigo on the top deck! ...... and it means we'll get to the Orient about 45 minutes later than normal.

I mean, let's face it, if you try REAL hard, you could arguably think of a worse way to spend a glorious sunny Saturday than sharing a quiet convivial (or two) with 22-plus like minded Mates in the ultimate historical entertainment precinct in the whole wide world...
