Sorry I cannot be with you guys on this because I'm not travelling too well at the moment. Anyway 'Carry on men' and I'll keep up with you on line.

Well another Rocks Run is behind us and what a great day we had. It was fantastic to catch up with most of the old crew again, the run was very slow and casual with only a light spattering of rain. Ellen and I really enjoyed meeting Ann and Fred, we chatted for ages and introduced them to a few Aussie colloquialisms. Looking forward to next year already.

Totally concur Neddley, and when I had breakfast with Fred and Anne this morning they indicated that they have thoroughly enjoyed the experience as well... (The taste of vegemite on toast I gave them at breakfast... not so much...!!!) Of course when I left you lot at 'The Orient' last night, at what I felt was a very reasonable hour of 6:30PM, little did I know that certain persons (who shall remain nameless,) would drag our visiting GDY's back to that 'den of iniquity' know locally as 'The Frisco' to see out the evening and to experience an Aussie 'closing time'...

...Could it be that they could have been lead astray by the senior ranking member of our group, one LCDR PW, who, the more fuel he imbibed became not so much of 'an ossifer and a gentleman', and more of a mere minion like the rest of us... Anyway, I figure I've now done my bit, (as promised,) so I'm going to put my feet up and chill out while the body recovers...
