Gordo has sent in the photos he took of the Palisade Hotel, which include what I'm assuming are photos taken from the roof of the Palisade, along with a number of pics of Barangaroo... I'll leave it to Gordo to add his comments to the photos he took... Great pics, thanks Gordo..!I'm sure the new owners of The Palisade knew it when they bought it, but it really does have the potential to be the new jewel in The Rocks' crown...

None of the pics were taken from inside the Palisades, the top is still under construction. Immediately behind the pub (down the side road) is the top gate into Barangaroo, which, as you can see, is now developing nicely. Very pleasant to walk around and if you start up the top and walk down to the bay front, there is an elevator that will take you back up to the top where you started. Could easily spend an hour strolling around there. Watch the two movies that were posted about Barangaroo and get a good idea of the amount of work that has gone into it so far. I'll keep you informed about the Palisades as it progresses, but you might want to book the Nelson for lunch Rick, as we know that they can fit us all in.
