"Smiley", a "Chippy" in the Jan '63 (14th) Intake, a very good Aussie Rules and Basketball player and a top bloke.

We served together on the Sydney and had plenty of great runs. I remember one trip when we were sitting in the mess on our way home from Vung Tau after visiting KL on the way there. Surfie was married and a bubble arose about a week out of Sydney. He was absolutely shitting himself, but managed to get away with it. Funny how little things stick in your mind. :laughing8:

We are loosing so many great mates and it is so sad. It brings tears to my eyes. :tear: :tear:

Gary Saunders R42714 Jan 63 Intake

Although I was on the Ferry during that time as Gary, memory fails me and I can't recall dealing with him.

Sad to lose another MOBI member and condolences to his family and friends.

RIP Gary, fair winds and following seas.

So sad a Closet Greenie of all things

Have you actually spoken to the idiots who run the Nominal Role site, I did once and got a mate I joined up with details changed after they had him doing trips to Vietnam before he even joined Pussers.

Bang the Ganvil hard enough and you will maybe succeed

Cheers I will not tell anyone about your closet capers :taz:
