Peter Dudgeon has informed me that Grant had passed away. Peter had reformed a friendship with Grant through their common interest in all things railway. They both worked on many projects at Chullora over the years, in particular the restoration of 3801.

Grant Williamson has passed away on 2nd January, after a long illness. He was a driver at Enfield, Central and Blacktown, he was also Operations Standards Manager (OSM) at Blacktown and Newcastle for many years. He loved everything rail related. Gone to that great round house in the sky. – Fred Harvey
Although Grant only completed his 1st Term at Nirimba, he was still part of our gang. Grant joined our term contact list nearly 10 years ago, and he would keep in touch with replies to certain topics via email or phone calls.
Very sad to lose another member of our intake group and my sincere condolences go to Grant’s wife Marise, family and friends.
Grant's funeral will be at 80 Maitland Rd, Mayfield, 1100-17/1/25.
