Looks like you reprobates had a great reunion...... Tried my best to have several drinks for each of you while I was on the Pacific Star, and my final bill suggests I may have succeeded beyond my wildest expectations.......geeeeeeeeeezus they know how to ply you with piss........ ......and food.... I broke into a cold sweat last night walking through the top pool & bar area.........encountered a raucous and extremely pissy bunch of partygoers who looked like they should have been in the brig........thought you lot had come out by chopper.... Breathed easy when I realised it was just a drunken rabble cramming as much piss in as they could on the last night..... Sorry I missed the pub crawl ........maybe next time. |

Can't wait to gather an Expeditionary Force together to investigate BALMAIN, the only other suburb in Sydney (other than The Rocks.) where there are so many Pubs in a such confined area... Here's what I've found in Balmain so far... (Note how many are in Darling St.) Rob Roy Hotel 25 Adolphus Street, Balmain, Marquis Of Waterford 50 Darling Street, Balmain, Durham Hotel 69 Darling Street, Balmain, Boilermakers Arms Hotel 178 Darling Street, Balmain, Riverview Hotel 29 Birchgrove Road, Balmain, The Monkey Bar 255 Darling Street, Balmain, London Hotel 234 Darling Street, Balmain, Royal Oak Hotel 37 College Street, Balmain, Kent Hotel 51 Palmer Street, Balmain, West End Hotel 74-76 Mullens St, Balmain, MB Bistro 255 Darling St, Balmain, Bar Contessa 371B Darling St, Balmain, Randall Pty Ltd 255 Darling St, Balmain, Holilol Pty Ltd 292 Darling St, Balmain, And then if we take in Balmain East, there's also... Cat & Fiddle Hotel, The Commercial Hotel Dick's Hotel Dry Dock Hotel Exchange Hotel Sir William Wallace Hotel Town Hall Hotel Unity Hall Hotel I'm sure that with a little bit of research we can whittle that lot down to a 'drinkable' and 'walkable' number of attractive pubs, and pick an appropriate one to finish off the run at.. |
