Hmmmmm.... We'll have to work something out, that weekend will be the
41st Birthday Party for The MOBI Yacht 'Nirimba' at RANSA, and an ideal
opportunity to have our long overdue AGM with those present...

Well folks, have just had an email from Henry Schubert, he is going to commit to the pub crawl. Glen Friedrich has also indicated he is likely to attend. Have also apparently had a few nibbles from Tom Davies, Peter Hines and Bruce Hayward (all 17th intake)
Dean Gedling (dinophot) said he's coming just wanted the date confirmed.
I have informed my terms mailing list, the date is now confirmed as 3 November.
Lets get the ball rolling and pull in some more runners.

In light of the obvious support for our RAN Skilled Hands Sydney Rocks Pub Crawl Smokey for Saturday 3rd November...
...I'd like to capture that enthusiasm and propose that The MOBI Yacht 'Nirimba' Birthday celebrations for this year (they'll always fall on the first week in November,) take the form of a heart-starter 'morning after' breakfast at 9:30am on the Sunday at RANSA, followed by the looooooooong overdue AGM at 11:00am in RANSA's Rushcutter Room, then a Birthday BBQ and Open Day with the yacht alongside the RANSA Wharf...

Experience has proven that we'll always have great difficuly ever getting a quorum together for the MOBI Yacht 'Nirimba' Association Inc. AGM, but with whoever turns up, we can then move to have the AGM 'on-line' through our RAN Skilled Hands Website/ Forum as previously mooted...

Please plan for a full weekend guys, those very few of us fighting to keep the yacht and the Association afloat really need your support...

What about the Sunday Charlie..? (Re: my post above)

And for those who hadn't noticed, the NAVENG 2007 Reunion is the following Friday (9th) in Canberra...

I can't believe it!!!!

Would you believe Ilona and I will be sailing out of Sydney Harbour on Saturday 3rd heading for Melbourne on the "Pacific Sun" to enjoy the 'Melbourne Cup'

I have talked to her and she has agreed we can come down on Friday and stay in a hotel for the night so I or we can go out with some of you for tea and a few bevvies.

Sorry that I have to miss a great weekend with all you guys, AGAIN!
