An insight from Russian TV on how "well" the war is going.
To me Skabeyeva, the host, is a Putin lacky through and through who doesn't like hearing the truth and wants to stick to the party line. She does not like hearing the real truth and continuously pushed the party line and rhetoric.
The Colonel was well spoken and no one else interrupted them on his view which is unusual on Russian State TV, which means that this is probably a Russian propaganda exercise to soften the population up for bad news that the war is not all going so well. It is not a propaganda broadcast, I am sure that he/they would have lost the "feed" or microphone fault and he would have been quietly taken off air.
The audience for this show is the educated elite so it seems that the effect of Ukraine's fighting fervour a d the isolation of Russia by the west may finally be taking it's toll on those in authority, other than Putin, and they may be seeking an honourable getout mechanism.
I am sure I saw something from this Colonel at or before the start of the invasion where he intimated that it was a foolhardy and stupid plan.
If it is not a propaganda exercise I think the Colonel, may be the subject of an "accident".
Hope that it is an exercise in seeking a way out. Must be a lot of unrest amongst the elite Russians.

Visiting Pete Williamson the other day, we had lengthy discussions about the Ukraine - Russian War and decided we needed to check out a bit more of the actual history behind their tenuous relationship...
I whole-heartedly recommend these short videos below for anybody who wants a clearer understanding and to get inside the Ukrainian, and more importantly, the Russian mind-set...
I guarantee you'll learn heaps that you weren't previously aware of, as we did...
It may have had more meaning for me after attempting to deal with a Melbourne Highway Patrol cop who started stalking my ex-wife, after she batted her eyelids once two often to get out of a speeding ticket... ...but that's another story...

Not sure if the Vouchers put out by Service NSW to encourage hospitality/ retail engagement during had similar offers in other states, but suffice to say, I've just realised that my 3 x unused 'Discover NSW' vouchers are due to EXPIRE(phuuttt..!) at the end of June,i.e. in two week's time...
In a mad dash, looking for opportunities to use them before I loose them, I've settled on 3 'BIG SCREEN' experiences at the Tuggerah Event Cinemas...
